Welcome to the Middle Tennessee Association for Healthcare Quality (MTAHQ) home page. MTAHQ is a professional non-profit organization dedicated and committed to the fields of Quality Management, Utilization Management, Risk Management and Case Management. MTAHQ is an affiliate of Tennessee Association for Healthcare Quality and Tennessee Hospital Association.

MTAHQ membership is a diverse membership of professionals. The active membership ranges from 60-70 members annually. Meetings occur every other month and feature one hour educational presentations, marketplace news, networking opportunities, employment offerings and Continuing Education Units.

The makeup of the membership is as follows: Approximately 60% work in the area of Quality Management, 10% Utilization Management/Case Management, 20% Managed Care and the remaining 10% work in the areas of Data Management, Risk Management, Group Physician Practice, Health Information Management, Home Health, Corrections and Dialysis.


Benefits of Membership
Education: MTAHQ meets every other month providing a one hour educational program on quality related topics. MTAHQ conducts a minimum of one annual conference (usually in the spring and month of May)for it's membership and other quality professionals. Each program offers contact hours, including CPHQ's. The regular MTAHQ meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of January, March, May, July, September and November. Meetings are held at Summit Medical Center in Hermitage TN.
